McDaniel Youth Baseball

McDaniel Youth Baseball is a community baseball organization committed to developing players to continue their baseball journey. Our JBO charter captures all players within the McDaniel High School boundary, but we also encourage players from adjacent boundaries to join us under waiver in order to continue playing. Please join our community.

• Academy style workouts will start in February (3:00 pm -5:00 pm) and continue every Sunday until tryouts 

• Tryouts on Sunday, 3/01/2026 (3:00-5:00 pm)

• Rosters will be finalized and announced the week following tryouts

• Game Count: 25 - 35 Games

• The JBO regular season goes from the second week of April through the end of June

Player skills evaluations:

• Location: McDaniel High School Baseball Field

• Tryouts: Sunday, March 1st  from 3:00-5:00 pm

Fundraising

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Snap! Raise for our fundraising efforts this year! Fundraising allows us to offer scholarships so that everyone who wants to play can play. Players will collect 20 or more email addresses and Snap! Raise does the rest! A representative will come by and speak to families and players sometime during the winter workouts at McDaniel (weight room or field, depending on weather). Parents will need to sign their son(s) up so at least one parent per family will need to be in attendance.
